Meet Laurie Pavon Solis, a seasoned casting professional who has been bringing background performers to life on screen since 1999. It all began when the TV series HOPE ISLAND came to her hometown of Britannia Beach, BC, and Laurie quickly realized her passion for bringing diverse communities together to experience the thrill of the film industry.

From there, she went on to work on a variety of productions including feature films, movies of the week, music videos, and commercials, all across beautiful British Columbia. With a reputation for being a problem-solver and a team player, Laurie has become known for creating an electric atmosphere on set, always selecting the perfect background performers to match the scene and setting.
